The process of making stamped sarongs (stamped batik) involves several main stages, starting with preparing the cloth and wax, then stamping the motif using a copper stamp canting dipped in hot wax, followed by dipping the cloth in dye, removing the wax by boiling, and finally cleaning and drying the cloth.
